Sari jumped and took her headphones off.
"My god, what do you want?!" she yelled.
"When we get home, I want you to finish bringing all your stuff to the house so we can put your bed and stuff in there." Her dad said.
"No duh…." she muttered.
"What were you listening to anyway? We could all hear it." Sari's mom asked.
Sari looked down at her IPod she named "Skrillex". "In the End by Linkin Park."
"I thought you only listened to that one guy." Sari's little brother remarked.
"Yeah well…." Sari changed her music back to "that one guy" and shook the car while dancing.

Sari layed down on her bed and looked at her room. It was bigger than the one where they used to live. She liked it.
Sari looked out her window. Back home she always wanted to move to California, and there her family was. She misses her friends, but she feels like she has to start all over. Her first day of school was in two days. She wonders if there are actually people there who share the same interests as her.
Sari pumped her music in her room and picked out what she was going to wear on the first say at the new school. Black converse, black pants, Skrillex shirt, and her Chinese necklace. She hoped that at least one person liked him as much as she did.
The rest of the night was a blur, Sari only remembers laying down on her bed, thinking and drifting off.

Sari woke up at 10:30 in the morning to the sound of laughing like idiots in her kitchen She could hear her mom, brother (half brother), and dad(step dad to be exact) messing around in there.
"Thanks for waking me up……"
"Sari, Sari!" her brother points to the public pool out their window. "Mom said that we can go swimming later!"
"I don't really want to swim today." Sari said. The truth is, she hates swimming now because of her low self-confidence. "But can I go for a walk with the dog outside?"
"Yeah sure. Just be careful." Her mom answered.

Sari walked down her street. What a sight she was. Sari wore all black with dark sunglasses and her hair down despite the heat. She looked like…… a vampire. A vampire walking a cute but slightly overweight dog, that is.
"Snickers! Snickers!" she called her dog. She was a beagle so she took off at the slightest smell. This was too difficult. She gave up and put the dog inside, grabbed her bass headphones and Skrillex. She then headed back outside.
She put the headphones around her neck and pumped "Bangarang" out of them and slinked around the new neighborhood like the little emo she was.
She discovered that she has all kids about the same age in her area. Another girl as a neighbor, a couple of guys across the street, her school was only a block away, another boy who was FRIGGEN CUTE who lived behind her, and a few trailer houses on the dead end of her street.
She was nearing the dead end when she saw the trailers. She switched songs to her favorite song, Rock n Roll by Skrillex, and headed down.
From what seemed forever, she got into a good view. She saw glimpses of 4 boys and a couple girls hanging out in the backyard area of it. There was smoke coming from where they were at. "A little campfire," Sari thought. She looked to the other side of the dead end. More trailer houses. She felt a cold breeze and smelt a gross woods smell. She stood there for a minute, thinking and staring in the woods. She didn't know how long she was standing there, but her legs started to hurt and her vision started to blur. "Oh no, not here." She thought. She shook her head and turned up her music. She was not going to have one of her episodes here. She turned her attention to where the kid's were sitting. They were gone. Sari decided to take this opportunity to run like heck up the hill of street away from the dead end. Those kids probably hung out there every day and saw her.
Sari did not feel welcome there at all.

"How was the walk?" Sari's mom asked.
"I discovered that we have a lot of kids my age around here," Sari replied.
"Really? Like how many?" Sari's mom asked again.
"Well, we have one a girl as a neighbor, a couple of boys across from us, a bunch of them at the dead end, and one behind us." Sari said, finishing with a blush.
Sari's mom smirks and calls out to her dad, "Chris, looks like there's a lot of boys Sari's age in this neighborhood!" Sari blushed even more "MOMMM!!!"
Sari's brother,Zack, looked at them. "I thought she was married." And he points to Sari's finger with a ring on it. "Thank you Zack, I am." Sari says. "You are married to Skri- Skrillix!" Zack exclaims. "Haha, no silly it's Skrillex." Sari corrects her younger brother. Her dad then makes a gagging sound which results to Sari punching him and running up stairs to her room. "HE'S THE CUTEST FRIGGEN THING IN THE WORLD!" She yells like a crazy person.
The rest of the day Sari was on her laptop in her room while watching stuff like "My Ghost Story" or "I Survived" on the Bio channel. She skipped dinner like usual and decided to check out the pool. She watched as Zack had all the fun swimming while she thought about the people and places she saw today. They went back home for the night and Sari stared in her mirror. "Get ready for a new school….." She said to herself. "Summit" on her music's playlist kicked on which meant it was pretty late. Sari turned her IPod dock off and climbed into bed.

It was 6:35 when Sari woke. She jumped in the shower, dried her hair, straightened it, and got dresses in her special outfit. She never has breakfast so at the remainder of time she re-applied her black nail polish that chipped yesterday.
Sari then said bye to her mom and set off to school. She was relieved that she saw other kids walking to school there too. She didn't want to be seen or talked to, so she walked quickly past her neighbor's houses. Sari calmed herself down and slowed down her pace. She smoothed out her favorite shirt to show it proudly. She took her headphones out of her zebra stripped bag and put them around her neck. She was looking through her playlist, thinking about what to play in front of these people. She gave up and decided to be herself and not worry about what they will think about her. She played her favorite song, (Rock n Roll as said before) and pumped it through the small speakers around her head. She avoided all eye contact and strutted along like she didn't see them looking at the new girl.
She noticed that everyone was walking in a group except this one girl……and OH GOD. And that boy! He was right in front of her! He was walking alone too!
Sari looked down and blushed. She got herself together and got a better look of him. He had black long hair across his face that flipped each time he turned his head. She was now beside him by a couple feet. She kept her eyes carelessly on her IPod and in front of her. She glanced to her side once and noticed his skin was really white. Sari wished her skin was like that. But it tanned really easily. She picked up the pace and turned Rock n Roll up a little more. She held her IPod up to her face and pretended to check the time. She looked in the reflection and saw him behind her, staring right at her. She blushed a little more and looked at her feet for the rest of the trip. She approached the school and went into the lobby. She noticed the kids that lived by her walked down the long hallway and went to their lockers. Sari knew what she had to do. She just had to find the office and tell them that she was new.

"What's your first name?" the young woman there asked Sari.
"My name is Sari." The woman looked at her in confusion for a second. "It's spelled S-A-R-I." Sari added. She checked her computer and nodded her head. "Ohhhh, hi Sari. My name is Miss Patterson and today I will be showing you your classes and your locker." She pulled some keys out of her pocket and gave a slip of paper to her. It was Sari's schedule. "Okay, since your last name starts with an m, let's go to the m section shall we?" Sari followed Miss. Patterson and she got her books and her lock. "Now let's go to your homeroom." Sari then followed her down a long hallway. Sari got really nervous. She calmed herself down and looked at her shirt. She smoothed it out again and flipped her hair. Miss Patterson looked at Sari from her side. "I like your hair." Sari smiled. She hasn't done that in a while. Miss Patterson picked a side of Sari's hair up and smoothed it down. "It's in like a…….goth style is it?" They stopped in front of a door. "I guess so." Sari replied while her heart started racing.
They both walked in. Someone who Sari thought was the teacher smiled at them. "Ah, class, this is the new student I told you about!" Mrs. Patterson left and the teacher stood up in front with Sari. Sari glanced around the room "It's too….happy in here." Sari thought. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw that boy she was obsessing over today in the corner, looking at her again. "So Sari, tell the class about yourself." Sari got back into focus. "Well, I really like music and the internet." The teacher looked at Sari up and down. "I see that you must really like the color black too." Sari nodded her head and looked down at her shirt again. The class giggled. "So. Is there any questions you want to ask Sari?" A few hands shot up. Sari randomly pointed at one. A red haired girl with a shiny crystal necklace asked her the first question. "What state did you come from?" "I came from Texas." Sari answered. She answered a few other questions when a girl with long red hair in a ponytail with glasses and yellow, yes, yellow looking eyes put her hand up shyly. Sari pointed at her. "What does your shirt mean?" Sari's face got red and she looked down. "It's just a musical artist I'm in total love with." The girl looked at her. "I'm obsessed with what you're talking about." Sari's head shot up. "Really!?" The girl nodded. Sari did something she would never do. She pointed at her and called her "awesome". When Sari found a seat, they took attendance. The boy's name was Sonny. Sari almost melted. Sonny was her favorite boy name……The girl that she knew would become friends with her was named Lidnesey. After 2 hours of boring classes who she had two out of four with Sonny and three out of four with Lidnesey, it was finally lunch. Sari looked around the room. She heard Lidnesey call her name. "Hi!" She said. Lidnesey made her sit down with her group of friends. She saw that neighbor girl there too. She had blonde hair that was to her shoulders."Hi!" The girl said. "I don't know if you noticed, but I live right next to you." Sari smiled. "Of course I noticed! What's your name?" "Oh my name isn't important, I like to be called Lil' V." There was also another girl. Sari thinks that she asked her a question in class. "And my name is Kate. In class I asked you about where you live. It was kinda a dumb question though." "No, not really." Sari replied. "It is nice to meet you all and to meet someone who likes Skrillex like I do." They ate in silence for a little bit, so Sari began to look around for Sonny. Sari never was so obsessed over a boy in her school before. But he reminds her so much of someone……..
"Who are you looking for?" Lil' V caught Sari looking around. "Oh just someone who lives behind me……" Sari shut her mouth with her hands. How could she be so stupid?!
"Ohhhh I know who you're talking about." Lil' V smirked at her. Sari's face was violet. "Nononononono please don't tell please just….." The two other girls smirked along. "So you're into that type huh?" Kate asked Sari. "Lil' V here knows him right?" Sari looked at Lil' V. "Yep, I used to play with him when we were little. We lived in your neighborhood all our lives. But then he went all goth and just bleh……" Sari frowned for a second. The three girls apologized. "Nononono, not that there's anything wrong with that……."
Lil' V got an idea. "Wait right here guys, I'll be right back." She got up and walked over to two tables away from them. Who was she walking to…….oh my gosh. She started talking to Sonny! Sari felt like she was going to faint. She turned her back towards that table and looked at Kate and Lidnesey. "What is she doing?!" The two girls looked the way Sari was trying to avoid. Lil' V came back a couple minutes later. "I'm backkkkk!" She said. "Dude, what did you say to him? That's not cool!" Lil' V flashed a smile. "Some things……" Sari got up and stood next to her while all three of the girls did as well. "Dude." Sari said, wanting to die. "Calm down, I'll tell you….come with me." They all dumped their non-eaten food and retreated to the bathroom. Sari caught a glimpse of Sonny on the way out. He was looking at her. They ran inside and locked the door, out of breath. "Guys, I'm going to die the first day!" Sari exclaimed. Lil' V told Sari what she said to Sonny. "I went over there and I asked him how stuff was going, and I asked him about what he thought about the new girl. He asked me why, and I told him I thought you were weird just to play along. Y'know?" That received a side comment from Sari. "Heyyy……."
"Haha, sorry. But listen. He said that you were cool." Sari blushed for the tenth time that day. "But that's not the good part. I told him that you have a crush on him and-" "DUDEEEE!!!!!" Sari crouched down on the floor, feeling sick. It took a little bit for her to calm down. Sari refused to get up but Lidnesey and Kate whispered to Lil' V. Then came giggles and squeals. Sari looked up. "What is it?!" Lil' V started laughing and locked herself in a stall. "You guys tell her!" Sari stood back up and looked at Kate. "What tell meeee!!!!!!" Kate started giggling. "She told him about you having a crush on him and he blushed and said he liked you too." Sari almost screamed. "WHAT?!" Lil' V came back out of the stall and took her by the hand. Dude, he likes you be excited! They all started jumping up and down like little girls. "But wait. Sari stopped all of them Why would he tell YOU he liked me?" Confusion swept the girls faces. "Well, girls had crushes on him before, and he never liked them back. In fact, you're the only one we've heard about that he likes back." Lidnesey told the girls. Sari still was confused. "But why would he…… I don't know. Is it just because I moved here and things are different or……" They all shrugged. All they knew was that Sonny liked Sari.

The last bell finally rang and everyone went to their lockers. Sonny's was three lockers away from Sari's. When was this going to end?! Sari got packed up early and ran out. She then thought she was safe from boy drama and took out her music. She was walking for about five minutes when she heard a group of footsteps form behind her. She pretended to check the time on her ipod and saw a group of kids. Two girls and four boys. Wait, they were the group that she saw at the dead end. She picked up the pace but heard a "Hey!" from behind her. She kept walking but she heard her name. She stopped and turned around. A tall girl with strawberry blonde hair and a nose piercing came toward her. "You just moved here, right?" The group and Sari stopped in the middle of the road. "Yeah." Sari replied. "Well, you seem cool." The girl smiled at Sari. This freaked her out a little….. "My name is Tara, and this is Anthony." She pulled a kid with dark brown hair and blue eyes around to us. "He and I are the leaders of this group." She pointed to other kids. She pointed to the only other girl of the group with red hair as well. "This is Helga." She also pointed to the rest of the group. Austin, with brown hair and eyes , Brad, with black hair like sonny's and green eyes, and Tommy with black hair and brown eyes. "We all share the same interests." Sari's eyes lit up. "Yes, we like Skrillex and….other things." Tara giggled. Sari loves meeting anyone that likes what she does. If they don't think their married to them like she is, anyway. "You seem really cool, so we want you to join our group." All of them nodded. Sari was interested. "So what do you guys do in your group?" "Well……." Tara laughed. "It would be easier if we showed you first. Tara and Helga giggled along while they dragged Sari along with them. The boys stayed a foot away, smirking. They passed Sari's house, and they even passed the dead end.
"So is this were you guys all live?" Tara nodded and looked at the rest of the group. They went farther down, into the woods. They then came into view of a sweet little house it looked like they made.
"Cool club house you guys have here." Sari remarked. She looked at the rest of the gang. They were whispering amongst themselves. Anthony nodded at Sari. "Yeah, it was hard to make."
"Okay guys, I will show Sari where it is. When we're done we will meet you in the club house." Tara told them. The boys and Helga nodded and ran in a pack towards the house. Sari was alone with Tara. "Before you join, you have to do something  to get in." Sari looked worried. "Nononono don't worry. It is very easy. It's kind of stupid, actually." Sari thought about this. She doesn't like being this confused. But hey, she may become cool on the first day. "Okay let's go then!" Sari said, excited. Tara grinned. "Let's go!" She then took off sprinting. Sari followed her and they sprinted through the forest for about 2 minutes.

When they arrived, Sari was tired and panting. Tara was fine.
"Okay, so all you have to do is follow me up this tree and you're in!"
Sari could climb. She took a moment to breathe, and agreed.
They started up the big tree. Sari could not believe how easy it was. She was excited to get to the top of this and join a bunch of Skrillex lovers.
They had finally made it to the top. Sari has never been this high before.
"Wow. The view is beautiful up here!" Sari exclaimed. Tara looked around at the ground. "This is the last part. If you pass this, you're in!" Sari nodded. "Just wait up in here, I have to get something." Tara told Sari. "But wait……" Sari objected. But then she watched in horror as Tara slipped down the tree like a ninja. "TARA!!!" Sari yelled. "DON'T LEAVE ME UP HERE!" Tara looked up at Sari for a little bit. She wouldn't reply…… Suddenly, the rest of the group joined Tara at the bottom. They all looked up at Sari. "GUYS!" Sari yelled. "THIS ISN'T FUNNY!"
They still looked at her. Anthony whispered something to Tara and she nodded. Sari has never been this confused and scared in her life. "TARA! I WANT TO GO HOME!" Tara responded by pulling out a shot gun and pointing it up at Sari.
Sari just looked at it in horror. BANG! Sari scrambled around in the tree. "WHAT THE HECK?! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!" BANG! Sari felt it. Then again. BANG! Sari dodged it again. Tara stomped the ground. "WHY WON'T YOU DIE?!" She shot at Sari again and again. She couldn't move fast in the tree at all. But she was not hidden by limbs or leaves anymore…. She was out in the open and the gun was pointed right at her. It would be impossible to miss…..
